there's no save button! That's why i have no idea if i will have to replay the game all over again to wave 13 the next time i play it or if i can rest assured. If the game does save, either add the said button or say so somewhere obvious in the game please.

"a platformer disguised as a race."
when collecting random books is as important as to get to the finish line before other contestants...oh sorry i mean NOBODY, i call this a platformer. I know it IS in the platformer category, but if it is one i don't think there should be any "don't run here" segments like the mud or some of the jumps Also, the game was WAY too hard. first and 2nd worlds were alright, but after that it was trial and error until your freaking mind blows up out of frustration or until you get lucky enough to get it right, because you can EASILY miss your jump if you were supposed to run when you ran, or if you were supposed to jog when you jogged. Honestly, the only thing that kept me playing and what gave you 3 points until some level in the ninja arena was the pretty funny lines from the runner. This could have been a great game for me too if it weren't for all that was mentionned above, but like the runner says, "this is ridiculous" and "this isn't worth it".

First, different controls schemes would be great, but you actually have to use the mouse because there's no "turn off mouse controlled" or something. Because of that, your ship will always go towards the mouse, even if its off the screen.
Second, your or whoever's the scenarist's english is poor, and could have made an effort in that area, since there are parts of the texts that have basic grammar errors, and others that are plainly not understandable.
Third, replayability. It would have been nice to be able to either replay previously completed levels (with the same ship and weapon), have a new game+ to of course keep your ship and weapon, which would allow you to be good instead of evil and vice/versa, or AT LEAST be able to get every upgrade without dying to make the lvl restart, by getting more money the more powerful your hit and/or have a money power-up and/or get more money per ennemy killed and/or get more money per lvl completed and/or being able to sell your previous ship/weapon.

it is too bugged. First, it is possible that the metallic bar is in its vertical position without you pressing the button, and while you can puke and jump over it if you reach the end the activated platform will be ''invisible'' anyway.
Second, even if the bar is in horizontal position and you reach the button while fat, when you reach the end the platform is invisible anyway.
Finally, wile it has nothing to do with the lvl 9 being impossible, it is still an issue: the hit detection, while not absolutely terrible, could be a lot better. I've already walked on spikes after being hit once by them, and when inormally would be almost hit by an axe or spikes i still got the damage from it.
Author's Response:
Level 9 is not impossible! If you lose a life after pressing a button, the button will still be pressed, until you lose all your lives and have to retry. That is why you notice the platform being verticle, it's because you already pressed that button.
When you drop down below, you need to ride on the swinging balls up to the upper level. There you can activate a button which will allow you to get to the flag just below.
Maybe I should write a walkthrough..

First, I agree with everyone when they say the game is too slow, even if i understand you wanted the speed to be about the same as the "real" Santa Claus.
Also, like tristantheman9, i lost gifts randomly, apparently without any reason. If it really does fall randomly, you should remove it and if it doesn't it should be written somewhere what makes you lose gifts.
Third, it would be nice to have "special events" linked to each or at least some of the messages you get when you land on a roof, because when a player read them all the gameplay becomes pretty boring. For example, whenever you get "santa's super helper" or something you could have a super helper with you on the sled that would automatically grab the candy canes and bring them to you, and when you get "cookies and milk" it would make you heavier and slower for the next few houses.
Fourth, all candy canes shouldn't spawn randomly on the screen and the player should always be able to grab them before they fall off. It may seem like a small detail but i actually lost a life because of this happening in repetition. While I'm at it, while not change the energy recovery value for each candy cane color?
Last and certainly the least, you could add a Level complete! music, preferrably a Christmas-themed one.

herse my advice:
make the whole game like the truck part, i.e. real-time, don't make the time stop before every moment the player has to do something, cause you can't do that in real-life parkour. It would make the game more realistic and enjoyable.

There are three things that bother me tough, even if they are small:
first, at the beginning instructions the player is told to just press the space key to activate psycho, and not to HOLD it. i don't know if it's a bug or if you simply miswrote it, but it's enough to make the player lose a life.
Second, the game is hard but only because of the bosses (at least its the case for the first level, which is the only one i played.) IMO if you make a sequel or edit this one, you should make the level(s) harder to properly balance with the actual boss. In that way, the player has more of a chance to kill the boss on its first try since he already needed more skill for the earlier part.
Third, the graphics are OK but not with psycho in effect. When psycho is activated, it's difficult to see each ennemy bullet and so it's hard to know if one should move or not before psycho ends, since that person doesn't know if, in either case, he's going to get hit after psycho ends.

fix the glitches and this 5 becomes a 9. also, adding rewards for completing a certain number of achievements would be nice.

something's wrong with the groovy combos, and maybe the bogus. I won all 9 of the games, but got groovy bonuses only on the 8th and 9th.
